This is it.

This is what it feels like
To lose control
To lose all hope
To look back down the path
And think,

"Shit,
I made all the wrong
Decisions."

It's weird that I can't remember
That I've been happy
For long enough
That going dark is foreign
That losing myself is a tragedy
That lack of hope is...well, painful.

You said you believe in me,
But why, why should you,
When I don't believe in myself?

You shouldn't, don't,
I can't take care of myself
But I don't want you getting
Hurt in the process.

Light shouldn't love Dark.

And this is the painful part.
The "I love you, but I just can't",
The "I spend more time wishing than smiling",
Seattle-Bound Coffee ShopsYou were San Francisco
And a family
An old porch swing
Music and colors and stories.

He's an extra bag,
Intelligence I can't comprehend
Silence that scares me
Beauty that I don't deserve.

You could be happy,
You might even smile when you fall asleep,
Because even though they came true,
You fought your nightmares,
Like the brave soul I've always known.

Is it too late?
Probably; now you've moved on.

To Chicago,
And fixing your family,
Long open-space walks
Music and colors and memories.

Like a drugged kiss
Under starry skies,

In the fossil records if

She clings to the words,
The scrawl,
The pixels that hold
Hope unintentional lies
And if history repeats itself,
Far more of the latter.

She keeps holding
On to tomorrow
Where the promises will
Make or break how she
Carries on with her life.
Holding on to tomorrow,
The slippery tablecloth
With elaborate candles and dreams,
But the cat keeps
Pulling it down,
Tomorrow alway
Butterfly KissesShe was scared.

She wanted him to
Look in her eyes
And realize that she was scared.

He asked if she was okay
And she gave
The most hesitant answer
Of her life.

But he didn't realize it.

He was supposed to move her,
Fall next to her,
Wrap her in his arms
Until she stopped shaking,
And then whisper in her ear
"I love you."

But he didn't.

And if she'd only spoken up
Maybe she wouldn't still
Be so scared.

OKAY I SWEAR.

I know I've been spamming you with notifications and stuff, but seriously, =Krissi2197, it's her birthday, go love her forever ;-;

No shading, I didn't really feeel like it; there were too many seperate color layers for each character to do shading that would look any good :hmm: Oh well, I still got it out before her birthday was officially over :XD:
