How it Feels to Die InsideThere's one person who I don't want to read this. I know you know who you are. Because honestly, this won't make you feel good. I'm not writing it to hurt you; I'm writing this to express myself. Because I need to say it to someone who hasn't already heard it. So please, if you're you, then don't read this, for your own sake. That is, if you even look at my art anymore. If not, well, I guess that makes my life easier.

This is a rant. Like a journal. But it's not. I don't know how to express myself as well in drawings as I can with words. It's different than most people. But words come easy for me. So here, I have some for all of you.

Oh look, Puzzle and Topaz are alive!

And they're falling from...from something...

AND TOPAZ IS LAUGHING, WHICH IS WEIRD, BECAUSE NOTHING ABOUT THIS IS FUNNY. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU HIT THE GROUND, THEN WHAT???

lol okay.

So really, I've had this idea for awhile. Ever heard of the song "Falling In" by Lifehouse? Go look it up. It's good :) But, that's what I drew this too. I've really liked the song for awhile, and wanted to draw to it for a looong time, so, here it finally is :XD:
Every time I see your face
My heart goes off on a high speed chase
Don't be scared
It's only love
Baby that we're falling in.
Similarly, this reminds me of that one line from TLK2, when Rafiki goes all Upendi and shit on Kiara & Kovu, and he's singing, and he's like, "It's a long way down off of Lover's Leap, but falling's half the fun!" (Which, BTW, is my favorite part of that song, which is my favorite part of that movie.)

Sooo...I think that's it for this one. This is a really simple background. And I really like how the shading turned out this time :) I think I finally found a style that works for me :squee:
